Eurostep Fantasy gives a private group a season-long EuroLeague fantasy game. It starts with one shared, live draft room: commissioners run the event, managers prepare queues and make picks, and the server keeps the official order, rules, clock and result the same for everyone. Then the same teams play the season.

Overview

The product is built for commissioners and fantasy managers who want a whole EuroLeague season with their friends, starting with the energy of a live draft, without spreadsheets, chat-thread bookkeeping, or arguments about which screen is right.

One-off draft night

Start quickly.

Sign in, create a room, share its code, draft, and export the result. Just curious? A Mock Draft against bots needs no account.

Private league

Return with context.

Leagues add private invitations, role-aware access, saved rooms, and draft history, using the same live draft engine.

Most groups start a league and play the season. A one-off draft night is still there for groups who only want a draft.

How the draft works

  1. 01

    Set the room

Choose an instant or scheduled draft, the manager count, the pick clock, and whether autopick ranks by rating or Fantasy Credits. Every 13-player roster holds five guards, five forwards, and three centers.

  2. 02

    Seat the league

Invite managers, confirm readiness, then randomize the order or set it deliberately.

  3. 03

    Run the board

The server advances the snake order, validates every pick, and keeps everyone's screen in sync. If a manager can't make it, the commissioner can force their pick from their queue or the best available player, or undo a pick to recover from a mistake.

  4. 04

    Recover cleanly

Refreshes and reconnects replace local assumptions with the latest room state from the server.

  5. 05

    Keep the result

Completed rosters, the pick history, and a recap stay available, with a repeatable CSV export.

When a manager misses the clock: their private queue is tried first. If it can't supply a valid player, the server picks a valid fallback and records it as an automatic pick.

Feature tour

Season Game

Your drafted teams play a head-to-head matchup every EuroLeague round in nine stat categories, with lineups, waiver claims, trades, standings and playoffs.

Leagues and invites

Commissioners can create private leagues, invite the people they choose, and keep active and completed drafts together.

History and export

Completed rooms keep final rosters, the ordered pick history, and a recap. CSV export gives a clean handoff to your league's own system.

Players Explorer

Browse the current draft pool, filter by position or team, and compare the rating context before draft night.

Draft tools

Value and Needs lenses, position-shortage warnings, an optional autopick by Fantasy Credits, and a team comparison after the draft.

The agentic feedback pipeline

The feedback loop follows one rule: AI can speed up investigation and implementation, but it never grants itself authority. A public report starts a traceable process with a human decision between evaluation and writing code.

  1. 01

    Report

A visitor reports a bug, idea, or other observation from the page where it happened.

  2. 02

    Evaluate

An AI reviewer examines the report from both an implementation and a risk perspective.

  3. 03

    Approve

The owner receives the written assessment and explicitly approves or declines an implementation attempt.

  4. 04

    Implement

An isolated agent proposes the smallest change and must add a regression test that proves the defect.

  5. 05

    Verify

A separate reviewer checks the change and reruns the tests before any merge decision is possible.

AI-assisted work stays bounded by human approval, regression tests, the full test suite, and independent review. A report can speed up a proposed fix, but it cannot skip the product's review and verification.

Architecture overview

01

Next.js + React

The responsive interface renders setup, league, draft, recovery, and result states on desktop and mobile.

02

FastAPI

The Python backend validates identity, role, phase, turn, roster rules, deadlines, and every accepted change.

03

WebSockets

Connected browsers receive the same room state after each accepted action.

04

Postgres + Auth

Durable storage supports recovery and history; account sign-in protects private leagues and account-owned data.

The browser is where people act, not the referee. The server accepts or rejects each action, saves the official result, and publishes the state every browser should show. Browser storage helps a person return to a room, but it never outranks the server.

Getting started

  1. Sign in and start a private league from your dashboard.
  2. Share the league invite link with your friends.
  3. Open draft night from the league. Managers join, ready up, and optionally prepare a private queue.
  4. Set or randomize the order, start the draft, and let the room enforce each turn.
  5. When the draft ends, start the season from it: set your lineup before each round and follow the matchups.
