Season Game
How to play
The team you drafted plays one head-to-head matchup every EuroLeague round, scored on your players' real games.
Rounds and matchups
Every EuroLeague round is one fantasy round. You face one opponent and your lineups are compared in nine categories. Winning a category earns 1 point and a tie gives each team half a point. More category points wins the matchup.
The nine categories
Field goal %, free throw %, three-pointers made, points, rebounds, assists, steals minus steals against, blocks minus blocks against, and turnovers, where fewer is better.
Standings
Teams are ranked by matchup wins, then ties, then category points difference, category points won, and the latest round's points.
Season and playoffs
The regular season runs over EuroLeague rounds 1 to 33, so in a 12-team league you meet every team three times. Then the top eight play the playoffs in rounds 34 to 38: quarterfinals over two rounds, semifinals over two rounds and a one-round final. A two-round series goes to the team with more category points across both rounds; a tie goes to the higher seed. Smaller leagues send the top four or two. Your commissioner can set the playoffs to 2, 4, 6 or 8 teams before round 1. With 6, the top two skip the quarterfinals, and in the semifinals the top seed meets the lowest seed left. With 4 the final runs over rounds 36 to 38, and with 2 over rounds 34 to 38.
Your lineup
Five starters and a sixth man count in full, bench players count half, and exactly three players must be inactive; they don't count. Your five starters must form a legal court by position (C-F-G): 2-2-1, 2-1-2, 1-2-2, 3-1-1 or 1-3-1. You can name one starter captain: their stats count 1x, 1.5x or 2x, as your commissioner sets for the league. If you never set a lineup, your first six draft picks play in full, picks 7 to 10 count half, and the rest sit out. Your lineup carries into the next round. If a player leaves your team (a claim, a trade or a commissioner move), the empty court spot is filled at once with your sixth man or best bench player who keeps the court legal, and your captain is replaced if he left the court.
Lineup lock
A round's lineups lock at its first tip-off. After that, nothing about the round can change: lineups, captain, claims and trades all wait for the next round. My Team shows when the next lock is. If the commissioner changes a roster after the lock, the round is still scored on the lineup as it stood at tip-off; the change counts from the next round.
Waiver claims
Before each round you can claim free players on the Players page, each time choosing who you'd drop. Your claims are private. They lock two hours before the round's first tip-off. Then the lowest-ranked team chooses first (before any round is scored, it's the reverse of the draft order), one player per team at a time, until every claim is decided. You can reorder or withdraw claims on My Team until they lock. If two of your claims drop the same player, only the first to go through can drop him; the other one fails and you're told why. A player in an accepted trade can't be dropped in a claim or offered in another trade until that trade goes through or is vetoed: the first move committed wins.
Free agents
There are no instant adds: every free player, including one just dropped, is a waiver claim. All claims and accepted trades resolve together, two hours before the round's first tip-off, so everyone has the same chance.
Trades
On My Team you can offer up to three of your players for up to three of another manager's, in any numbers. If a trade would take a team above 13 players, that team picks who it drops: you when you offer, the other manager when accepting; dropped players go on waivers. Both rosters must stay within 3 centers, 5 forwards and 5 guards, and within the league's club cap: 3 players from one EuroLeague club, unless the commissioner chose up to 6 before round 1. Only the two of you see the offer. If they accept, the whole league sees the trade under review for 24 hours, and the commissioner can veto it or end the review early. Or the commissioner can call a league vote: it adds a day to the review (your league can set another length), everyone except the two managers can vote, and the trade is vetoed only if more managers vote veto than allow; a tie lets it through. It goes through at the next claim lock, two hours before the round's first tip-off and just before the waiver claims run, if every player is still on the same team. A team left with fewer than 13 players can claim a free player without dropping anyone. Trades close a week before the playoffs, unless your commissioner sets another deadline. Your league can also limit how many claims go through per round, and choose rounds with no claims or trades.
Auto-managed teams
A team without a manager is auto-managed: before each round's lineups lock, it plays its best legal lineup, putting players whose club has no game that round at the back. It never claims or adds players. The commissioner can give it to a league member or send its claim link.
Claiming your team
If you drafted before you had an account, your commissioner sends you a claim link for your team. Claiming it adds you to the league and makes the team yours.
Official results
A round is scored once every game in it is final and the stats are in. The commissioner publishes the season's first round; after that each round is published automatically, unless the commissioner switched that off, and the standings update.
